Bio

Shane is a starting postgraduate student who is going to study Data science in Monash but also has a plan to study Artificial intelligence in the future. It’s literally the first time he steps into IT area but he has a strong confidence about himself because he believes Data science and AI would benefit people’s life.

Interests

Shane loves bodybuilding and music. He would go to gym every morning and put on the headphones listening to Westlife and Queen while workout. He can play guitar as he believes music can give him peace and motivation. He is also a fan of travel and cuisine. Getting to know every different culture and tasting local food is one of his life goals. he is gamer as well. Super Smash and Tianyamingyuedao are his recent loves. Since PS5 was released recently, he is saving money to get one. In his word, no one can say no to games.

Worries & Solutions

He is away from uni for 3 years and he is a little bit confused if he can turn into study mood again. Besides, it’s literally the first time he steps into IT area and he worried about he might fall behind the fellow students while study. To solve those issues, he decided to study ahead before the semester begins by searching Data science and AI materials from the internet and join some online classes to get himself ready. Apart from that, he also created groups on social media to gather students who are going to start their study on Data science and AI. Even though he is worried, however, he never doubted his decision on his major as he believes Data science and AI would benefit people’s life a lot in the future. In his word, you will have the best uni life if you can balance between study and your hobbies.
