Bio

Peter is a young man that likes to edit photos and videos, and is looking for opportunities to further develop skills on image or video processing during his course. He likes to travel and make food, and often records these processes. He likes to edit and share his travel and cooking videos through social media, like YouTube and Instagram. During his time at Monash, Peter is hoping to help the university as well as some companies or organisations to produce some videos.

As a new student to Monash, Peter doesn’t know what to do or look out for when he’s in Monash. Ways Peter decides to solve this problem are by regularly checking over his email, timetable, and other Monash services. Moreover, other solutions that Peter has in mind include contacting through Monash Connect, or asking specific questions from the course’s teaching team. Peter may also join more social activities, clubs, or mentoring groups, in this way he can get the chance to ask questions and gain experience from other students about anything, such as studies or navigating in Monash.

Another worry that Peter has arises from the fact of being overseas, because of this, he is facing trouble with not experiencing the university life, of worried about remote learning. As mentioned before, to address this issue, he can participate in online groups or clubs to in some way experience Monash events online. In regard to his worries about remote learning, the student groups, or edforums on Moodle, has come to mind as a great way to address his questions with studies especially online. In addition to these solutions, Peter also decides to actively participate in the activities organized by the IT faculty.
